I’m Tiffany, the blogger behind Endless Bliss. I’m so excited that you’re here!
Even though I grew up as an Air Force brat, I still claim the south as my home since I spent the majority of my life bouncing around from city to city, most of them in the south. I was born in Germany, and while my dad served in the military, we lived in Florida, Japan and Arkansas before he retired and we moved to South Carolina where my dad’s side of the family lives. In the middle of my freshman year of high school, I decided I needed a change of scenery, so I packed my things and moved in with my mom who was living in Shreveport, Louisiana.
I graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2012 with a degree in business management and entrepreneurship with no real vision of what I wanted to do with it. I worked at an all-girls camp the summer after graduation then spent four months working for a company whose vision didn’t align with mine. I spent every night crying and confused about what I was going to do with the rest of my life and wondering if that was it. At 23-years-old, I packed my bags and moved back in with my parents then accepted a job working at the front desk of a new hotel. Eight months later, I was promoted to the sales coordinator position where I fell in love with marketing and social media.
After working at the hotel for over four years and being passed up for several promotions, I started questioning my skills and my purpose. On a whim, I decided to quit my job and start working on a cruise ship. I had the time of my life, and I couldn’t wait for my vacation to be over so I could sign on to my second ship. After my first contract, I went home knowing that I’d only have two months to soak in as much time with my friends and family as possible. I went on a date with my friend, Kyle, which turned into something more, so saying good-bye to him when I left for my second cruise contract was harder than the first time around. After just one month on my second ship, I said bon voyage to the cruise life and accepted a revamped position at my former job at the hotel in Louisiana.
After over a year of dating Kyle, I found myself back in the military lifestyle. In August 2018, I said good-bye to the state I lived in for 12 years and hello to a temporary home in a state I had never visited – Ohio! I struggled to find a job in the field of marketing, so I decided to look into childcare jobs for a temporary source of income while I continued to look for jobs in the field I was familiar with. What I didn’t anticipate was finding my true passion in working with children. After working at two different childcare centers in Ohio with two vastly different age groups, I decided to go back to school to get my post-baccalaureate in elementary education. I’m currently attending an online university called Western Governors University and working on getting my teaching certification.
The military moved Kyle and me to Omaha, Nebraska in the middle of a pandemic. Just two days before we left our first home together, Kyle got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Now we are planning a wedding scheduled for September 2021, and we’re living in Omaha with two fur babies. Even with the world in the state it’s in, we have so much to be thankful for, and I’m so excited to safely explore our new home.
