Check out all the songs on my cozy fall playlist!
Fall is my favorite time of year for many reasons. I always have to find the perfect balance of doing all the spooky Halloween stuff and staying cozy and doing all the fall things. I have a playlist for literally everything. If you don’t believe me, check out my Spotify. It’s gotten a little crazy. I’ve been falling in love with so many songs this season. Here are a few songs I’ve added to my fall playlist that I’ll be playing on repeat.
CORNELIA STREET by TAYLOR SWIFT
I’m absolutely in love with Taylor’s whole Lover album, and “Cornelia Street” has moseyed its way into one of my favorite songs. I just love the message the song sends, and it’s definitely relatable for me.
Favorite lyrics: “And baby, I get mystified by how this city screams your name.”
CUZ I LOVE YOU by LIZZO
I’ve found myself playing Lizzo’s album on repeat lately. I just love how she exudes self-love and the importance of falling in love with yourself. She’s so confident, and listening to her music makes me want to love myself and believe in myself more. She’s such an inspo.
Favorite lyrics: “I thought that I didn’t care. I thought I was love impaired.
SLIDE AWAY by MILEY CYRUS
Miley’s new song not only sounds beautiful, it also tugs at the heartstrings. I feel all the things while listening to “Slide Away,” and it’s become one of my favorite songs to listen to while I’m driving.
Favorite lyrics: “I’m not who I used to be. You say that everything changed. You’re right, we’re grown now.”
NIGHTS LIKE THIS by KEHLANI FEAT. TY DOLLA $IGN
There are more sad songs on this playlist than I intended, but I couldn’t resist putting “Nights Like This” on the list. I love listening to it on a cold commute to work.
Favorite lyrics: “But all that glitters isn’t gold, I was blinded.”
LET ME DOWN SLOWLY by ALEC BENJAMIN
Heart. Breaking. This is such a heartbreaking song about a couple whose love is starting to fade away, but it’s also so pretty and lovely to listen to this season.
Favorite lyrics: “And I know we haven’t talked in awhile, so I’m looking for an open door.”
DANCE MONKEY by TONES AND I
The first time I heard this song, I fell in love. It’s such a fun bop.
Favorite lyrics: “Just like a monkey I’ve been dancing my whole life.”
BOYFRIEND by ARIANA GRANDE FEAT. SOCIAL HOUSE
I absolutely love Ariana Grande, even more so after seeing her in concert in Columbus. Every time she comes out with a new song, I get so excited because I know it’s going to be amazing. She never disappoints.
Favorite lyrics: “I don’t wanna be too much, but I don’t wanna miss your touch.”
CRY FOR ME by CAMILA CABELLO
I just adore Camila Cabello and all she does, and this new song definitely had me in the feels. It’s a song that I could see my younger self having on repeat and crying to while eating a tub of Blue Bell #selfcare.
Favorite lyrics: “When I said I hope you’re happy, didn’t mean it.”
CALL YOU MINE by THE CHAINSMOKERS FEAT. BEBE REXHA
I recently saw Bebe Rexha live when she opened for the Jonas Brothers, and it just made fall in love with her. She’s an incredible performer, but she’s also an inspiration. You can tell she’s so humble about her success, and I can’t wait to see how much her career continues to grow. Also, The Chainsmokers are my fave! I saw them at Hangout Music Festival, and I would go see them over and over again. They put on an amazing live show, and the energy is just electric.
Favorite lyrics: “You said, ‘I never regretted the day that I called you mine.’ So I call you mine.”
DON’T GO CHANGING by ALY & AJ
I’ve been a fan of Aly & AJ for years, so I was way too excited when they started putting out new music. I love how much their music has evolved, and their two latest albums are honestly so perfect for cozy season. They have all the cozy vibes. This song was also on my summer playlist, but I’m happily jammin’ to it in the fall too.
Favorite lyrics: “Typical feeling. Who ever told you you’re not good enough? Just don’t go changing on me, babe.”
