Cheers to six years of Endless Bliss!
Who knew that six years ago when a man disrespected me at work I would still be completely in love with blogging? Not me. I honestly expected my love for blogging to fizzle out a long time ago. While I have gone through a couple blog breaks, namely when I was working on a cruise ship and when I was moving from Louisiana to Ohio, I still find myself continuing to come back to my little space on the internet.
The world of blogging has changed so much since I first started. There are some changes I love and others I don’t. I love that blogging has become so much more accepted and that companies are starting to realize the power of blogging and social media. I also love that I’ve been able to make some genuine connections with other people in the blogging community, some of which have turned to IRL friendships.
I’m so thankful for the opportunities that I’ve received from blogging, and I have even bigger plans and dreams that I’d like to make a reality in the next six (and hopefully more) years. So, thankyouthankyouTHANKYOU for making your way over to Endless Bliss. Whether you’ve been here from the d’Asti at Tiffany’s days or if this is the first time you’ve stumbled upon Endless Bliss, I’m eternally grateful. Because of you, I’ve partnered with companies that I would have never even dreamed of. Because of you, I have a place to share the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of life, relationships, anxiety, and so much more. Because of you, the fire inside of me is still burning with a love for writing and publishing blog posts.
To celebrate, I’m sharing some of the highlights from the past six years, and I hope to have even more to share in years to come.
January 2013: Wrote my first blog post published under this blog’s first name, d’Asti at Tiffany’s
August 2013: I created my 30 Before 30 list
September 2013: I met my first blog friend in real life, Katie from The Hungry Goat. She’s since stopped blogging. I also did my first ever guest post. It was for my friend, Rachael, from The Rachael Way, and she also no longer blogs.
October 2013: I got invited to join my first ever blog network, HerCampus, now renamed the InfluenceHER Collective
November 2013: I accepted my first sponsored post (the post is private now because yikes). It was in partnership with Hpnotiq.
January 2014: Renamed my blog to Endless Bliss
June 2014: One of my blog posts was published on Thought Catalog
February 2015: Started the #blissfulbooktalk book club (that was sadly short lived, but I’ll probably pick it up again soon!)
November 2015: Hosted my first “Have Yourself a Blissful Little Christmas” where I sent Christmas cards to some of my loyal readers. I’ve done this twice now, and I plan on doing it again in 2019!
December 2015: Met my blog bestie, Christina from Hugs and Lattes in person in Tennessee. We had a sleepover, watched Eloise at Christmastime, colored in a Harry Potter coloring book, drank out of Olivia Pope wine glasses, and perused a bookstore.
January 2016: Celebrated my third blogiversary with another photoshoot with Hannah from Southern Aire Photography
March 2016: Filmed a commercial in partnership with the Shreveport-Bossier Tourist Bureau. I also met up with Christina from Hugs and Lattes (again!) and Erica from Coming Up Roses on an epic weekend trip to Nashville.
May 2016: Served on the “Telling Your Story” panel for the Shreveport-Bossier Attractions Association
June 2017: I hung out with Christina from Hugs and Lattes for a third time, and we visited three states in one day
November 2017: Started the Shreveport Sunday series where I highlighted things to do, see, eat, and drink in my former city
March 2018: Participated in 318 Restaurant Week in partnership with the Shreveport-Bossier Tourist Bureau
July 2018: I started my friDIARY series where I share a little inside (and unfiltered) look into my everyday life
December 2018: I went to my first blog meet-up after moving to Dayton, Ohio.
I can’t wait to see what awesome things happen for Endless Bliss in the upcoming years. Thanks so much for reading my blog and sharing in this bliss with me. Happy 6th birthday to Endless Bliss!
