Hungry for pizza? Check out this list of the best pizza places in Shreveport/Bossier City.
Pizza is easily one of my top five favorite foods. I couldn’t properly list out my favorite foods for you because it’s forever changing, but I can guarantee pizza is and forever will be in the top five. There are so many great pizza places in Shreveport/Bossier City. I’m only including the restaurants that I’ve tried personally that have pizza as their main food. I also didn’t include any of the super major chains, but Domino’s would 100% be at the top of that list.
1 >>> SOUTH HIGHLANDS PIZZERIA
This is my boyfriend’s go-to place when it comes to pizza. Any time I would go to his house and he had ordered a pizza, it was from South Highlands Pizzeria. For the longest time, I had no idea where the pizza was from. I only knew that it was delicious, and I never wanted to stop eating it.

2 >>> PIZZAREV
This is the new pizza place on the block, and holy cow, it’s amazing. It just opened it’s first location in Shreveport at the beginning of this month, and it’s absolutely incredible.

3 >>> GODFATHER’S PIZZA
My co-workers raved about Godfather’s when it first came to town, but it took me forever to actually get around to eating it. Not only is the pizza pretty dang delish, you get so much bang for your buck. If you get an individual (ahem, pizza for one, please), it’s cheaper to do the special that comes with a side than it is to just get a pizza. I tried their cinnamon monkey bread and yes, yes, YES! So good.

4 >>> JOHNNY’S PIZZA HOUSE
Johnny’s is a staple in north Louisiana, and many people will scold me for putting it fourth instead of first, but I stand by my decision. Johnny’s take-out pizza is good, but I don’t recommend their buffet lunch. It’s just not as fresh and not made with love. My favorite Johnny’s pizza is the Hog Heaven. My friend, Claire, and I have a special bond that involves a good old Hog Heaven pizza pie.

5 >>> POP N PIZZA
I love Pop N Pizza, but it has more to do with their chicken spaghetti than their pizza. Their pizza is still so, so good though. This isn’t a place that you can sit down and eat, and the pizza takes a bit to be made because it’s so dang fresh. I 100% recommend ordering ahead of time, but if you feel like sitting around and waiting, they have an old school Super Nintendo you can play.

6 >>> FRANK’S PIZZA NAPOLETANA
A lot of my friends say this is their favorite place to get pizza in Shreveport/Bossier City, but it’s lower on my list. Not to say I hate their pizza because it’s not bad, but there are other places I prefer. Plus, it’s a bit pricey. They do have a pretty good happy hour though.

7 >>> ROTOLO’S PIZZERIA
I like Rotolo’s more for the environment than their actual pizza. They have a trivia night at the Shreveport location on Line Avenue every Sunday, and my friends and I used to be regular attendees.

Where’s your favorite place to get pizza?
Even though I grew up in many cities around the world, I’ve been calling Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana home since 2006. When people visit the city, they’re often underwhelmed by the amount of things to do, but as the third largest city in Louisiana, there’s a lot more to the area than meets the eye. In my series, Shreveport Sunday, I’m excited to share some of my favorite things about living (and eating) in Shreveport/Bossier City.
