While most girls get excited for fall to come around so they can indulge in a piping hot PSL daily, I get super excited about fall fashion (and fall TV). My closet is pretty plain, but that doesn’t stop me from loving booties, leggings and scarves. I love finding creative ways to transition my summer pieces into fall ones. One thing I like about Louisiana is that fall is just a cooler summer, but it’s not nearly as cold as it is in other parts of the country. In fact, the leaves usually stay pretty green until closer to Christmas. That means I can rock dresses and rompers all fall long and get away with just wearing a light jacket, if I even need a jacket to begin with.
Tobi has an incredible selection of fall dresses, rompers, scarves, hats, etc. I’ve spent hours browsing through their collections and creating outfits in my head.
What’s fall without orange? Not only am I obsessed with this color, I’m also obsessed with this romper’s sleeves. I have one in my closet, and trust me when I say it’s so so dang comfortable. Be looking out for lots of Instagram posts with me donning this piece.
I’m obsessed with the color of this dress, which shouldn’t be a surprise, since the color is called “wine.” Shift dresses are my favorite because they’re so comfortable. It’s like wearing a class muumuu. Kidding! I love this outfit because it’s a little more edgy. You could even swap out the peep toe booties for some combat boots.
I wore the blue version of this dress to my friend, Sarah’s, rehearsal dinner. I received so many compliments. I love how comfortable it was. Plus, it can be worn for so many occasions. My alma mater proudly dons bulldawg blue, and this would be perfect for a homecoming game.
I always have a hard time putting white away after Labor Day, and this outfit proves it. By adding the tan accents to this navy and white romper, it can easily go from summer to fall. I’ve been dying to get my hands on a pair of OTK boots, and this romper would be the perfect reason to go get some.
What are your favorite fall pieces?
