I’m sad to report that I didn’t read nearly as many books as I wanted to this year. Last year, I had a goal of reading 40 books and ended up reading 50, so for 2015, I decided to extend ten beyond that. I guess I was a little too ambitious, because I ended up reading only 26 books – less than half of my goal. Even though I didn’t read as much as I had hoped for, I’m glad I still got to spend time with so many amazing books this year.
A few of my random book stats:
Total number of books read: 27
Total number of pages read: 8,524
Average length of the books I read: 328 books
Average rating of the books I read: 4.3
The first book I read in 2015 was Legend by Marie Lu. It wasn’t my favorite, but it was very intriguing. I still haven’t picked up any other books in the series yet.
The longest book I read in 2015 was Entwined by Heather Dixon. This book actually took me awhile to read because I couldn’t wrap my head around some of the magical things in it. It wasn’t my favorite. It wasn’t horrible either, but honestly, I wouldn’t recommend the book to many people.
The shortest book I read in 2015 was Just One Night by Gayle Forman. I had to read this novella after read the rest of the Just One Day series. Willem and Allyson were so adorable, and I had to read the novella to see what happened afterward.
The least popular book I read in 2015 was Fat Girl Walking by Brittany Gibbons. I’m surprised by this because I actually enjoyed reading Brittany’s memoir. You can read my review here.
The most popular book I read in 2015 was Lord of the Flies by William Golding. I read this book when I was a senior in high school, and randomly I decided I wanted to reread it. It was just as crazy and intriguing.
These are the books I rated 4 out of 5 stars:
Atlantia by Ally Condie
Choose Your Own Autobiography by Neil Patrick Harris
