It’s that time of year again where I lust over the materialistic things I wish I owned. I’m turning 26 this year, and honestly, it makes me so sad. Don’t get me wrong; I’ve lived an awesome life, but I’m not ready to be this close to 30. That only gives me four more years to accomplish everything on my 30 before 30 list.
Elephant wine rack: Two things you should know about me – 1) I love elephants. 2) I love wine. So naturally, an elephant wine rack is something that obviously needs to be in my life. I saw this one at World Market and have been lusting after it ever since.
Nerdy Nummies Cookbook: I’ve been a long-time fan of Rosanna and her YouTube channel. I love seeing all of the creations she comes up with. I love baking and creating themed foods, and she makes it looks so fun! Her cookbook just recently came out, and I feel like it’s something that needs to be in my kitchen ASAP.
Book candle: I’ve been obsessed with this Etsy shop ever since a friend of mine sent me a link to it. All of the candles are based on books. Being the bookworm that I am, I just feel like I need some book candles in my life.
Beanbag chair: I keep saying that when I move and have no furniture for the living room, I just want to buy a bunch of beanbag chairs. People laugh, but I’m not joking. I love beanbag chairs. I just want a huge 5- or 6-foot one to lounge and be lazy on.
Erin Condren Life Planner: My love of planners is so real, and if I had an Erin Condren planner, not only would my life be organized as crap, I would also be the happiest person ever. I know most people have dream cars and dream boyfriends, but I have dream planners, and Erin Condren’s Life Planner is at the top of my list (#nerdstatus).
Soak Opera by Zoella: I wish that I had been a fan of Zoella when I visited London last year, because I definitely would have made a stop at SuperDrug just to stock up on her products. I’m just such a huge fan of Zoe and her authenticity, and I would love to use some of her products. Plus, how cute of a name is “Soak Opera?”
Lush Bath Bombs: I had my first bath bomb experience earlier this year, and I need more! I’m obsessed with Lush’s bath bombs. All of the names are so fun, and they smell so good.
1989 Vinyl: Taylor Swift is my spirit animal, and even though I own every single album, have seen her in concert three times and own lots of T. Swift memorabilia, I need this vinyl in my record collection.
Canon PowerShot G7 X: This is my dream vlog camera. It’s perfect for vlogging on the go, and I love that it has a screen that flips out so you can actually see what you look like on camera. One day, my friend. One day.
FujiFilm Instax Mini 8: I’ve been wanting one of these ever since I found out about their existence. They’re so adorable, and every time I pass one at the store, I have to talk myself out of buying it. This would be perfect for all the parties I plan on hosting in the near future.
Typewriter: I know this isn’t an electronic, but I thought it would look pretty in the picture with all of the actual electronics. I have no idea if this typewriter actually exists, but if it does, I’d love to have it in my life. Really, I would just love to have any typewriter. I feel like going old school would keep me motivated to write more. I’d probably use it more for journaling than anything else because that’s something that would be okay to leave unedited.
External Hard Drive: I take a ton of pictures. I film a lot of YouTube videos. My computer’s memory will start dwindling eventually, and external hard drives are life-savers.
Harry Potter Sweater: Question – Is it possible to have too many Harry Potter shirts? Answer – No. Even though I have quite the collection of HP-themed items in my closet, I feel like this sweater is a necessity. Oh, and I’ll take a medium. Kthxbye.
“I Am Freaking Cold” Sweatshirt: This sweatshirt pretty much describes my life. I’m always cold (ask anyone in my office), and this is kind of perfect.
Gold Glitter Keds: Yes, I love Taylor Swift, but even if these weren’t part of her Keds collection, I’d want them. They’re so pretty, and they sparkle, and I love them. I’m a size 6, by the way. *wink wink*
Winter by Marissa Meyer: This is the last book in The Lunar Chronicles series. It just came out this month, and I’m dying to get my hands on it. I’m obsessed with The Lunar Chronicles and Marissa Meyer, and I can’t wait to see how it all ends.
Tonight the Streets are Ours by Leila Sales: Leila Sales is one of the sweetest authors I’ve ever met. I haven’t read a book by her that I haven’t liked, and I have a feeling this will be no exception.
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews: I saw this movie in theaters with my sister not knowing that it was a book. After seeing the movie, I definitely feel like I need to read the book.
The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton: I met Leslye Walton at the Texas Teen Book Festival last year, and she was the sweetest. I’ve heard such good things about this book from fellow bookworms, and it’s been on my Goodreads TBR list for awhile now.
Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling: I loved Mindy’s first book, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?, and I have a feeling I’ll love this too. I love Mindy because she’s unapologetically herself, and after reading her first book, she inspired me to do the same.
#GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso: I’ve literally heard nothing but good things about this book. I just feel like I need it in my life.
Grace’s Guide: The Art of Pretending to be a Grown-Up by Grace Helbig: I’m unhealthily obsessed with Grace Helbig, and I just want to be her when I grow up. Speaking of growing up, that’s what this book is about. With a title like that, it obviously needs to get on my bookshelf right now.
F*ck! I’m in My Twenties by Emma Koenig: I just feel like me needing this book is a given.
What things are on your Christmas wishlist this year?
