I’m not usually one to make excuses, but this entire blog post is about to be full of them. Ever since I made the switch the WordPress, my blogging schedule has gone downhill. I spent so much time trying to fix the formatting of all my posts (which still isn’t done and probably won’t be for a long time, to be honest), importing all of my comments (I feel like they will never all be here – BLAH!) and living life to really focus on my blog.
My goal is to get back to a regular schedule, but I’m afraid that if I force myself to commit to it, my content won’t be something that I’m super proud of. Instead, I’m working on making some goals for all of the projects I’ve been working on and then I want to start making some deadlines and getting some ish done.
So what have I been doing instead of blogging lately, you
Obviously, this probably shouldn’t be a legitimate excuse because I’ve been working full-time longer than I’ve had this blog, and it never interfered with blogging before. So why throw this in now? Because I want to, that’s why, and I’m an independent woman, and I do what I want. *drops mic*
If you look at my YouTube channel, you probably wouldn’t believe me, but if you look at the number of videos I have to edit on my computer, then you’d totally get it. The other day, I sat down and recorded three videos for my YouTube channel. I also have another one that I’ve been attempting to edit for the past couple of weeks, but the motivation just isn’t there. Plus, I have one video that I wrote out a ton of notes for, but I just haven’t gotten around to filming it yet. I’m really trying to get on the ball with it, but I think I like the filming part more than I like the editing part.
A few weeks ago, I picked up a paintbrush for the first time in over a year, and the joy that ran through my veins after that brush hit the canvas is unreal. I forgot how much I love to paint, and I’m currently working on a painting for a friend, which means all I want to do is paint it and finish it so I can finally give it to them.
4// PLANNING AN EVENT
This is probably what’s been taking up most of my time lately. I’m planning a Halloween event with a few friends, and it’s getting down to the wire. We have a long list of things to do, and not too much time to do it. I love organizing and planning events, and when I’m really dedicated and excited about one, that’s usually where I devote all of my time. This Halloween event is no exception. I’m definitely going to be sharing more details about the event on Endless Bliss when the date gets closer. Y’all should know by now that I love Halloween, and this will be the second Halloween-themed event I’ve planned. I’m so pumped!
So those are most of the things I’ve been doing lately instead of blogging. Hopefully soon, I’ll be getting back to my regular blog schedule. Until then, I’ll be sharing tidbits of my life on Snapchat (tiffanykhyla) and Twitter, so keep up with me there!
What have you been up to lately? Are you looking forward to Halloween?
